What is a Cryptid?
A cryptid is a creature that people say they have seen, but that science has not confirmed. Its story lives in local legends, folklore and eyewitness reports. Bigfoot, Sasquatch, the Mothman, the Jersey Devil and the Chupacabra are all cryptids.
Whether you believe in them or not, they are part of the places they come from, and part of why people love cryptids. Sasquatchee.com is about finding the vendors and the events that celebrate them.
