Sasquatchee should feel like a friendly trailhead: a place where you can browse, buy and connect without looking over your shoulder. Here is how we try to keep it that way, and how you can help.

How we review vendors

• A real person reviews every vendor registration before it goes live.
• We check that the listing is complete, the links work and use https, and the shop looks like a genuine business or creator.
• Changes to a vendor's name, bio, links and images are reviewed again before they show.
• Every product is reviewed before it appears in the marketplace.

Review lowers risk, but it is not a guarantee. Vendors are independent businesses, so please use good judgment too.

What we do not allow

• Counterfeits and stolen designs, art or trademarks.
• Unsafe, recalled or hazardous goods.
• Weapons, drugs, restricted wildlife products, or anything illegal.
• Scams, fake listings, impersonation, harassment or hate.
• Misleading claims, such as selling a novelty as genuine cryptid evidence.

Counterfeit and unsafe goods

If you own a design or trademark and see it copied on Sasquatchee, tell us. Send the listing link, proof that the work is yours, and your contact details. If a product looks dangerous, such as a toy with small parts sold for young children, or an item under a recall, report it and we will review it quickly. We may remove the item, suspend the vendor, or both.

Scam awareness

For shoppers

• Be wary of anyone who asks you to pay by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency.
• Check the vendor's listing, links and reviews elsewhere before paying.
• Prices that seem too good to be true usually are.

For vendors

• Sasquatchee will never ask for your password by email or message.
• Watch for fake "overpayment" buyers who ask for a refund of the difference.
• Sasquatchee will never ask you to pay fees or subscription payments outside of sasquatchee.com. All payments happen on the website.
• Only follow links that go to sasquatchee.com.

How to report a problem

Email Sasquatchee with:

• The link to the listing, product or page.
• What you saw and why it worries you.
• Screenshots, if you have them.

If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

How we handle reports

1. We confirm we received your report within 2 business days.
2. A person looks at the listing and any evidence.
3. We may ask the vendor for information, hide the listing while we check, remove it, or close the account.
4. We let you know when we have acted, though privacy may limit what we can share.

We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith.
